There is a Brighter Side Somewhere

We, as a people, have gone through many changes over the past few years. There have been losses and gains. The gains have been negative for a core group of people. They have gained stress, negative attitudes, weight, unparalled cynicism, and a greater load of debt they are unable to pay.
Of everything you've lost, we want you to know if you are reading this, there is a brighter side somewhere. That somewhere is not over the rainbow but let's pretend at the end of that rainbow is the brighter side. No, it isn't a pot of gold but it is the love of God, who is our Savior. He's priceless, worth far more than a pot of gold!
When we experience changes that do not improve our human condition, we have options. We can select changes that will improve our spiritual condition. This is precisely what the love of God does. In God's word, we are assured of Him being our Shepherd and with Him, there is no lack. (See Psalm 23:1)
We want you to be encouraged and experience joy that can only be found in Christ. It is an ever-present joy just as He is an ever-present God. We may wonder if we're going to make it and mumble, "perhaps." You may have given up and say, "No Way!" Allow this thinking to be what is changed and lost from you. As Steven Furtick said, "God's promises are more reliable than our perhaps." There is a way, Christ said, "I am the way, the truth and the life."
Make the word of God your bright side. For as long as we live, bad things will happen to good people. Our refuge, strength, encouragement and endurance are all found in Christ. He's not just somewhere, He's omniscient! He must be inside of us to receive the benefits or promises given to us.
God's love for us is unconditional but to receive His benefits, we must meet certain conditions. Even our employers may require a probation period before we are fully covered and receive the benefits package offered. One condition may be working a certain number of hours before you are even eligible for benefits.
Everything God has for us is ours to receive with conditions that are not only beneficial to you, but also to others. The premium you pay is being in a relationship with Him, wholly and holy. As said in Job 11:17, "Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning."
Choose the brighter side today!
